EndingHunger is an outreach and education project of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO).
It is an international community of young people and others who refuse to accept a world where 868 million people live in chronic hunger.
Forbes magazine in 2012 named EndingHunger the No. 1 food-related website “you can’t live without.” Lively, easy-to-understand content explains why hunger exists, what’s being done about it and how individuals in all countries can play a part.
EndingHunger social media like Pinterest, Twitter, Facebook and Google+ make it easy to ask questions and get involved in the discussion.
Live and online events keep things animated and bring more people to the movement.
Most importantly, members learn how they can get active in the drive to end hunger in our lifetime.
History has shown time and again that when young people by the thousands push hard enough, anything is possible, even ending hunger.
